Exhibition of work by West Cork Artists

Organised and curated by Jo Ashby

‘A Taster of West Cork’

I was honoured to curate this exhibition of work by visual artists from across West Cork, sign-posting visitors to the annual ‘West Cork Creates’ exhibition in Skibbereen as part of the ‘Taste of West Cork’ festival. The opening was attended by the Mayors of Cork City and Clonakilty, senior managers from the airport and a plethora of dignitaries. Local and national press and radio stations were also there to record the event.

Such was the success of the exhibition that we have agreed to a further show in 2019.

This is the fourth joint exhibition for Jo Ashby and Majella O'Neill Collins as they share their responses to the island environment in which they live and work.
