The global war on plastic is thankfully gathering pace. We happily take real bags for our shopping, eschew drinking straws and can choose refreshments in re-usable containers – we can even wrap our food in beeswax cloth.
" The Outer Hebrides are amazing – but in February?” was a frequent response to my announcement that we were heading north to visit dear friend and artist, Margaret Ferguson, and her family who live in Stornoway.
My sea painting workshops will take place in September from the evening of the 9th through to Sunday the 11th. The workshops will take place on the North Shore on Sherkin Island and there are options for both residential and non residential participation.
I'm honoured to be curating the community exhibition for Sherkin as part of the West Cork Islands' Festival again this year. Some special exhibits and surprises, plus mini-workshops - promises to be great fun. If you are in the area please do come and visit .....Hope you can join us
