Keep the paint flying!!

River Sheen

Art Source 2022

Although the autumn is usually a time to wind down after the summer season, it is all go at the moment, as I will be having a stall (J109) at Art Source 2022 at the RDS in Dublin from 11-13th November.

Art Source is a hugely exciting art event in Dublin and features over 200 Irish and International artists and galleries.

I have a limited number of free tickets for the weekend and also some invitations to the preview on the 10th November. Some of these have already been requested by and allocated to clients, but please contact me (jo@jo-ashby.com) if you would like to receive a free entry ticket.

The painting above (River Sheen) will be amongst the pieces that I will have on show. It should prove to be a very busy and interesting weekend, so I look forward to seeing you there!

Reflections on the summer

Meanwhile, we are putting away the studio gallery at the Old School House on Sherkin Island. The summer was exceptionally busy and I was delighted to welcome many regular visitors back to the studio. Our last visitors were a group from Germany ( some of whom are in the photograph above) who were undertaking a mammoth tour of Ireland. Despite challenging weather, we had a great afternoon discussing art, as several were creatives themselves.
